PTO President's Message

PTO would like to welcome everyone to this new school year 2011-2012. We are a diverse group of parents and teachers excited about the future of our kids at James Monroe Elementary. Join us and help make this year a difference in our lives and most importantly to your children.

Becoming an active member is easy and it really makes a difference! Volunteering doesn't mean a huge time commitment. We all know due to the economy these are hard times, but sometimes we need a distraction from our daily routines and what a better way to do something that will make a difference in your child's life. Volunteer! Whatever your time schedule and interests we have need of you. We have tasks that can be performed in the evenings, during the day, or that don't even involve coming to the school at all.
