Q: What is eScrip?
A: eScrip is a program where participating merchants contribute a percentage of your purchases to our school. Participating merchants track your purchases when you use your grocery loyalty card, credit card, or debit/ATM card that you registered with eScrip. Monthly, the merchants will total your purchases and then donate 1-5% of this amount to the School.
Q: Will I be charged for participating in the program or will
my discounts be taken away?
A: No. There are no added merchandise costs or fees for participating in the program. Any discounts passes to you remain yours. Just shop and use the registered grocery loyalty card, credit card, or debit/ATM card. The merchants donate their money to the school.
Q: What merchants participate in the eScrip program?
A: Local merchants include Safeway, Andronico’s, Whole Foods Market, and Macy’s. For a complete list, please go to the eScrip website at www.escrip.com.
Q: How can I sign up?
A: The most convenient way to become an eScrip supporter is to go to the office or ask your teacher for an eScrip application. Fill it out and turn in back to the teacher of into the office. The PTO will enter your data and you will be added into the eScrip system. Once you are processed into the system all of your purchases will count toward a monetary contribution toward you son/daughter’s school.
Participation is eScrip is not
limited to just parents. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and your friends can sign up to. Some of our extended families have
already joined!
Q: If I already have an eScrip Support ID before my student attended
James Monroe, do I need to do anything?
A: Yes. In order for James Monroe to receive eScrip donations, you must fill out the group designation for our school. James Monroe will not receive eScrip contributions until the group designation is assigned.
